When should I book my spa reservations?
○ To ensure you receive all the spa treatments you want, when you want, not only is advance booking suggested, it is highly recommended. Guests may book up to one month in advance of their arrival. Some treatments may not be available every day. Call to make a reservation: 352-331-3649
What is the cancellation policy?
○ Twenty-four hour (24) notification is required for all canceled or changed spa and salon appointments to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.
What if I arrive late to my appointment?
Arriving late will limit the time available for your appointment. You will still be charged the full fee for your appointment.
What should I expect?
Honor the tranquil environment with silence; this is a place for many to leave the stresses at the door and relax. Your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. The use of cell phones, cameras, and other electronics is not permitted in the spa. Arrive early so you don't cheat yourself out of much needed relaxation time.
What should I tell my treatment provider?
Communicate openly with your therapist, esthetician, or healthcare provider about the service during the treatment. Any special expectations, personal preferences, or concerns about treatment as the service progresses should be discussed with the provider. Additionally, you have the obligation to let your provider know about any health related conditions that could cause you discomfort or harm during your treatment. Let us know if you are pregnant, had any recent surgeries, injuries, or have a history of high/low blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, or diabetes.
What should I wear?
A robe, slippers, and lockers are provided for your convenience on the spa side of WHS. Please remove all jewelry prior to visiting the spa. You may elect to wear a bathing suit or undergarments under the robe for your comfort. Our therapists are trained in proper draping techniques for your comfort.
Should I avoid the spa if I am pregnant?
Yes. You should avoid treatments that use deep pressure and heat. We recommend the 'Mommy to be' massage and facial if you are expecting. Our providers can discuss the benefits while recommending treatments that will suit your specific needs.
Do services include gratuity?
No, treatments and package prices do not include gratuity.
Will I be able to purchase products that are used in my treatments?
We carry a full array of professional spa products so you can duplicate the benefits at home between facial treatments.
How do I determine which facial to use?
Our aestheticians at WHS are trained to customize each of our facial treatments for your particular skin through a skin analysis. You may book a facial and discuss receiving a treatment that is better suited for your skin type.
Should I shave my legs before my massage or body treatment?
○ Shaving is recommended but please be sure to do so no less than four hours prior to your scheduled appointment as certain products can irritate newly-shaven skin.
